My Favorite Raggedy Set!
|
Hello!
Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me! I am Indiana's doll maker 'Cindi Blazier'! I started out by giving my dolls as gifts and offering them to family, friends, and coworkers. I then enjoyed sharing them with 'everyone else' by offering them online and by taking them to Parke County Indiana's Covered Bridge Festival where many dolls found their way into new homes to be loved and cherished! I no longer take them to the bridge festival and I mainly just do special orders now. |

In addition to my dolls, I also make stuffed teddy bears and Christmas mice. I also enjoy other crafting such as making rag quilts, costumes, and every year my daughter and I make Christmas ornaments together.

Old photo of my brother and I as Raggedy Ann and Andy!!!
I started out doll making because of a birthday gift to my mother. My mothers name is Ann, (Granny Annie to the grandkids) and when I was little she would dress my brother and I up as Raggedy Ann and Andy for Halloween. Well for her birthday one year I decided to make her a Raggedy Ann doll for her gift. I have been doll making ever since!
I decided to build this website http://doll-garden.com to take custom orders for my dolls so that more people could enjoy them. In addition to my dolls, I now offer a great selection of fabric and sewing patterns in my Sew-in-Love wagglepop store, and I ship my items all over the world for others to enjoy!!! |
The well being of women is very important to me.....
I am a supporter of alternative menstrual products and have been actively helping women switch from disposable products. I have spoken with planned parenthood in my area about alternative menstrual products such as the menstrual cup and cloth pads. I frequent online forums and help answer questions for those wanting to switch. I have added custom cloth menstrual pads to my other website http://sew-in-love.com , for women who want to use alternative menstrual products but are not interested in using the menstrual cup. I have also added a very informative page on menstrual cups to this website for those curious and wanting to learn!
